Can you replace faulty plugs & sockets onsite? Yes.

For a very affordable cost Grey Gum can replace all onsite failed plugs and sockets.

We conduct a visual inspection of the electrical equipment under test and remove any that have obvious visual defects that are, or could become dangerous and attach a Fail tag.

We then conduct a series of electrical tests depending on the type of equipment. Testing may include insulation resistance, earth continuity, leakage current, polarity etc.

In order to ensure fast and accurate results Grey Gum uses the latest Bluetooth data capturing testing equipment. We use this PAT (Portable Appliance Tester) to conduct an electrical testing process to comply with AS/NZS3760:2003. This will result in a Pass or Fail on all items.

The data from all tests Pass/Fail/Value will be captured on our PAT. The result will be automatically printed on a tag for attachment to the appliance.

The captured results are then downloaded to our data management system where a full report will be created and sent to you in your preferred method (Electronically or Hard Copy).

Our data management system automatically notifies us of when your items need to be re-tested. We will contact you to schedule a suitable time prior to the due date.
